Bowman Marine Services is a mobile marine repair operation — we service boats at your dock, your slip, the marina, or on the trailer in your driveway anywhere in Coral Springs and Broward County. Most diagnostics and routine work can be done on site without hauling the boat anywhere.

Coral Springs, Parkland, Coconut Creek, Margate, Tamarac, Sunrise, Plantation, Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach, Deerfield Beach, Lighthouse Point, Weston, Davie, Hollywood, Pembroke Pines and the surrounding Broward County area, plus Boca Raton just north. Outboards, inboards, and sterndrives. We are factory-trained on Yamaha and Mercury systems and work regularly on Volvo Penta, Suzuki, Honda and Evinrude as well. Everything from small kickers to twin-engine setups.

Often we can narrow it down. Call and describe exactly what happens when you turn the key — whether it cranks, clicks, fires and dies, or does nothing at all — plus when it last ran and what fuel is in it. That usually points to a short list of causes before anyone drives out.

It depends entirely on the engine and the fault, which is why we diagnose before quoting. What we will not do is start work and surprise you: you get the diagnosis, then a quote, and nothing changes without a call first. More often than up north. Year-round use, salt, heat and ethanol fuel are hard on marine engines, so most South Florida boats want servicing every 100 hours or annually, whichever comes first. Impellers, fuel filters, and anodes are the usual wear items down here — and overheating from a tired impeller is the fastest way to a very expensive bill.
