A repower is the biggest single investment most owners ever make in a boat, and the difference between a good one and a bad one is everything that happens around the engine: rigging, controls, gauges, prop selection, and setup height. Bolting on the biggest motor that fits is not a plan.

How we approach a repower

First conversation is about how you actually use the boat — offshore runs, lake cruising, tow sports, fishing the Intracoastal. That decides the horsepower, the gearcase, and the prop, not the brochure. We quote the whole job: engine, rigging, controls, gauges, water testing, and disposal of the old engine, so there is no surprise line item at the end.

Outboards and sterndrives

Factory-trained on Yamaha and Mercury, which covers most of what South Florida runs. Sterndrive repowers and engine swaps are quoted case-by-case — on an older hull it is sometimes the right call and sometimes not, and we will tell you honestly which.

The details that matter

Mounting height set properly and confirmed on the water. Controls that shift like they should. Gauges and rigging that look factory, not spliced. A sea trial with you aboard before we call it done, plus the break-in schedule in writing.
