Fuel system service

Ethanol damage, water in fuel, clogged injectors, and failing pumps. Tank cleaning and fuel line replacement to current standards.

(954) 854-3780

More South Florida engine problems trace back to fuel than any other single cause. Ethanol-blended gas absorbs moisture from our humidity, separates when it sits, and turns to varnish in carburetors and injectors — and a summer of sitting at the dock is all it takes.

Symptoms that say "fuel"

Hard starting after sitting. Surging or dying at idle. Losing power at wide-open throttle. Running fine for twenty minutes and then starving. If any of those sound familiar, the fuel system is the first place to look, not the last.

What we do

Fuel condition testing (water and phase separation show up immediately), tank pump-outs and cleaning, fuel line replacement to current ethanol-rated standards, primer bulbs and fittings, water separators, carburetor cleaning and rebuilds, and injector service. On EFI engines, fuel pressure and injector performance get verified with proper instruments rather than guessed at.

Old fuel lines are not a cosmetic issue

Pre-ethanol fuel lines degrade from the inside out, shedding material straight into carbs and injectors. If your boat still has grey, stiff, or original lines, replacing them is cheaper than the third carb cleaning they will otherwise cause.

Mobile fuel system service across Coral Springs, Tamarac, Sunrise, Pompano Beach, Fort Lauderdale and greater Broward County. If the boat has sat for months and you are about to turn the key — call first. Ten minutes on the phone can save a tow.
